Joanna is a freelance oboist based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, performing regularly with the Winston-Salem Symphony, Western Piedmont Symphony, Fayetteville Symphony, and Piedmont Wind Symphony.

She is also a co-owner of the North Carolina Double Reed Company.
